Two Facilities, Every Stage of Growth
From a founder's first lab bench to industrial biomanufacturing scale-up, the Research Corporation gives companies the right space at the right stage.
Where you are determines where you fit
Two distinct facilities, in two cities, for two stages of company growth.
Valleybrook Applied Innovation Complex
A 100,000-square-foot R&D campus for companies that have outgrown the bench — biomanufacturing and a good deal more.
- Move-in-ready wet labs and scale-up space
- Access to a specialized upstream-to-finishing equipment suite
- Workshop and prototyping space to build past the bench
- Best for: companies developing processes and scaling
ETSU Innovation Lab
A high-tech business incubator, the first home for early-stage founders and for global companies landing in the U.S.
- Move-in-ready office, dry lab, and wet lab modules
- Shared resources, meeting rooms, and a media studio
- Certified International Soft Landings program
- Best for: startups and companies entering the market
One path, two homes
The two facilities work together. A company can land and incubate at the iLab in Johnson City, then move to Valleybrook in Kingsport when it's ready to scale production. The 2681 Core Accelerator and the Research Corporation team connect the two stages.
