2681 Core is anchored by the Research Corporation's Center for Innovation. Through the Accelerate Appalachia program, we give regional founders and small businesses the resources, mentorship, and capital to grow.

A homegrown investment fund
2681 created the region's first member-managed regional investment fund, putting regional capital behind regional companies. The Research Corporation also received a $1 million grant to establish a regional Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance.
